A memorandum was signed between “BERC&Partners” and “AccessBank” Closed Joint Stock Company within the framework of the University and Business Cooperation project. This Memorandum, signed by Renat Humbatov, a member of the Board of Directors of “AccessBank” CJSC, and Ruslan Mammadov, Director of “BERC&Partners”, will include cooperation in joint activities in the areas of both public-private sector partnership and private partnership, including projects for the development of the business sector of our republic, especially micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. The project management operator is “BERC&Partners” It is the "University Business Cooperation Center" (UBCC).
The main directions of the memorandum are as follows:
- Joint organization of various support, information, education and consultation, forums, conferences, seminars and other similar events and activities that contribute to the development of the financial and business sector, especially the micro, small and medium-sized enterprise sector, in our Republic;
- Creation and development of business projects, especially projects resulting from Incubation and Acceleration activities supported by the University, Financial Institution and Management Operator;
- Cooperation in education and training activities to prepare and improve personnel and managers who meet the necessary knowledge and skills for the business and financial sector and the requirements of the current market;
- Conducting research and studies for the development of the business and financial sector, implementing the application of research results in the business and financial sector, organizing various mechanisms for financing research, including the sale of work-products obtained as a result of research to domestic and international markets;
- Cooperation in the areas of private business management and joint organization of the creation of an infrastructure for the provision of professional consulting services.
It should be noted that UBEM is a project management and research center that establishes connections between academic institutions and the business sector, organizes and manages the joint implementation of projects that identify real problems and needs of society and the economy or provide solutions, and develops project financing models.
